WE LEAD Bootcamps: Front-End & Back-End Development

📅 Our 15-week bootcamps start with an orientation week where you'll meet your fellow colleagues, gain a better understanding of the tech industry from experts, and get excited for what comes next. Following the orientation week, the tech training begins, consisting of live online coding sessions between 6 pm and 9.15 pm (EEST). These sessions provide real-time interaction and expert guidance. Upon completion, you'll receive a shareable certificate in either front-end or back-end development.

🛠 The bootcamps place a strong emphasis on practical learning. You'll work on a real-life project, build your portfolio, and demonstrate your abilities to potential employers. Weekly team and individual challenges enhance problem-solving and creative thinking.

🤝 Throughout the program, we prioritize your support. You'll have access to dedicated Slack channels to connect with experts and fellow participants. Mentors will be by your side from day one. Exclusive Q&A sessions with experienced tech professionals offer valuable insights, inspiration, and a better understanding of how tech teams operate in different companies.

💼 We go beyond the bootcamp experience. After completing the tech training, our career week provides you with access to companies actively hiring in the tech industry. You'll have the opportunity to meet with their tech and HR teams, and schedule interviews with companies that are disrupting their industries. Additionally, you'll receive resources and guidance for CV and interview preparation to ensure a confident and professional presentation.

To participate in WE LEAD Bootcamps on either front-end development or back-end development, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

✔️ Be a woman or an individual identifying themselves as a woman

✔️ Be 18 years old or above

✔️ Strong interest in launching a career in tech, reskill, or re-entering the tech industry after a break 

✔️ Have good knowledge of both Greek and English languages

✔️ Meet AT LEAST ONE of the following criteria*:

• Hold a degree or are in your senior year in STEM, Computer Science, or Software Engineering OR
• Have at least 6 months of working experience in a relevant technology sector OR
• Have actively participated in a relevant technology project, such as the development of a website using any tool OR
• Demonstrate an understanding of basic programming principles through the successful completion of any relevant course, whether attended live or online. This could include courses from platforms like LinkedIn, Udemy, Coursera, or other training providers.

*Meeting any of these criteria ensures that participants have a foundational understanding of computer science concepts, providing a solid basis for learning and excelling in the bootcamps.

1️⃣ Submit Your Application: Provide us with your personal details, educational background, work experience (if applicable), and any other relevant information that showcases your interest and readiness to participate in our bootcamp.

2️⃣ Fundamentals of coding and analytical skills test: As part of the application process, you will be required to take a brief test on computer science and analytical skills. This test will ensure that you have the foundational knowledge necessary to benefit from this opportunity.

3️⃣ Technical Interview: This interview aims to further assess your skills, knowledge, and suitability for the training program. 

4️⃣ Final Interview: This interview serves as an opportunity for both parties to get to know each other better, and discuss the program further.
